Taking the chance before my next MBA Class starts on Monday to update my Blog, which I have put on the back burner the last 5 months. Since the last time I posted "Warlords of Dreanor" launched and so, of course, this brought about many changes to World of Warcraft and to my activities in game as well.
The new toon I was leveling with my friend on Thrall and our joint gold making endeavor has been placed on hold as we are both working on leveling and gearing up our main toons and enjoying the expansion. We managed to level our new toons to 44. I made a Warlock which I have come to enjoy playing, although its strange for me to have to stand still when I'm fighting to casts spells. I am a Hunter by nature so I'm used to fighting on the move. We also grew our "joint checking account" guild bank balance to over 30,000 Gold primarily through buying gear on the AH and disenchanting it for mats to re-sell, as well as flipping Transmog gear and other high gold items on the AH for profit. She did most of the work disenchanting hundreds and hundres of items of gear I bought and mailed to her. She enjoyed that very much (Not) lol. Due to my shift schedule and time commitment to my graduate school work my WoW time has been hit and miss. My friend's schedule has also been busy in the evenings so we have not been online at the same time very much since WoD launched to level our main toons together. As a result I have been leveling and gearing up my DK Tank (Zenaxos) who hasn't seen much action since the beginning of Mists of Pandaria. One advantage of leveling a tank of course is instant queues for Dungeons and LFRs so my progress has been good. I am now at the point where my item level is high enough to survive normal 1o player raids. I was fortunate last week to get an invitation to join a guild that is working on raid progression that needed a tank so I am now a proud member of <Endgame> on Galakrond. I participated in my 1st WoD normal raid last night and although we did not kill the boss we did make progress towards that goal and I learned a lot about the mechanics of the fight. I look forward to raiding with the guild as much as my work and school schedule will allow.
