My last return to World of Warcraft in August of 2014 only lasted 9 months. Towards the end I found myself logging in less and less frequently. I guess you could say I was burnt out and losing interest; the whole garrison thing was a turn off for me. The people I enjoyed spending time with online were also logging on less frequently and my graduate school work was becoming more difficult and time demanding, so I left again in May 2015.
But, as the title of my Blog says, I’m back on WoW again after an eight month break. For some reason about mid-December I starting to think about how much fun WoW was and how much more I enjoyed playing it than anything else I had ever tried to play in my free time. A couple weeks before Christmas I renewed my account and started the process of re-learning how to do all the things I forgot while I was away. I have been taking things slow and working on some missing achievements, collecting and leveling pets, doing pet battles, and working on my archeology profession. I’m slowly doing LFRs on my hunter Zenul for better gear, Zenzinar my priest still needs to grind out heroic dungeons because his item level is still too low for LFRs. My DK tank Zenaxos was let go from his raiding guild due to his 8 months absence, no hard feelings I’m sure, but he was recently invited to join “Lights Harbor” a guild of friendly and helpful people I look forward to working with.
